Our Story

A lifetime
in the wild

Excellent Guides was born of a simple passion: a love of Africa's wild places, and a longing to share them. Between us lie more than four decades spent reading these plains and mountains, and the wildlife that moves across them.

After years of guiding for others, we set out to build something of our own: authentic, unhurried, and shaped entirely around the traveller. A company true to our values: responsible, personal and deeply rooted in this land.
